Prof. Garrick Lim is an incoming Nanyang Assistant Professor at the School of Materials Science & Engineering in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. At NTU, his research interest is to leverage on colloidal design of catalytic architectures–their active sites and immediate environment–to bridge the materials gap in catalyst design for low carbon energy research.
Garrick is a Singaporean materials chemist. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore (NUS), worked for a year as a research officer at IMRE, A*STAR Singapore, then earned his Master's and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Harvard University. Thereafter, Garrick was a Stanford Energy Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University before returning to Singapore in July 2027 to take up his current position at NTU.
